The Serious Bit
Sarah works on permanent and freelance roles for the Technology sector.
She joined our graduate programme in 2013 as a Recruitment Executive and has moved up the ranks since joining us from becoming a Junior Consultant to more recently being promoted to the role of Consultant. Before joining us, Sarah graduated with a first in English Literature from the University of Kent. During her time at university, she took on a voluntary role as a Peer Mentoring Co-ordinator, helping new English students to settle into university life during their first term. She is a real people person and likes to keep busy volunteering in her spare time, once organising a trip to The Gambia and running a holiday club at a primary school.
The Fun Bit
My worst ever job was…
...at a cattery, cleaning litter trays and feeding grumpy cats.
The most daring thing I’ve ever done is…
...a zip wire! A friend convinced me to do it with her despite my fear of heights!
In my spare time you can find me…
...playing saxophone, swimming, theatre trips (I’ve seen Wicked six times!), exploring big cities, watching 90s chick flicks and spending time with friends.
Thank you so much for finding me this brilliant new position! And for all your help, advice, preparation and feedback - you've been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. I couldn't recommend more capable hands to be in! Thanks again.
Sarah has been so efficient and organised all the way and very good at communicating back to me. She has been on top of everything, provided great briefings and paid a lot of attention to detail, meaning the experience of working with StopGap has been really good.
Just a quick note to thank you ever so much for the yummy chocolates you sent over – a very pleasant, unexpected surprise! My first week has gone really well, everyone here is extremely friendly and welcoming and the role seems like a great fit for me. Thanks for everything
